Swaddling/rolling over

Lo is 12 weeks. She has started trying to roll over by putting her head way back and wiggling. I'm wondering I'd I should stop swaddling. She sleeps like a dream in her sleep sack swaddler. But I'm afraid she is going to roll over during the night. Any advice?

If she figures out how to roll over I would stop swaddling. It would be dangerous for her to be stuck swaddled on her belly. Once they learn to roll over, you kinda just have to go with it. I was really worried at first but there's no way to control them. My dd sleeps on her belly every morning. I got a snuza monitor to ease my mind.

agree with pp. i would say stop as it can be dangerous being rolled over and swaddled. my son only recently stopped being swaddled at 15 wks and i was worried it would affect his sleeping but it didnt! i place him in a sleeping bag now with his arms out so he still feels snug

How about if you swaddle with arms out?

Thank you. Do you think I should go ahead and do that since she hasn't rolled yet? Or wait until she can?

i would do it now. my son still doesnt roll but i thought i should break the habit before he does ;-) or work towards it slowly. start with one arm out... then both ..

Thanks. She slept 6 hours last night with arms out. So maybe this will be an easy transition.
