My lo is 8 mo & had been sleeping through the night since 3 wks old. Now she's going to bed at the same time (9) & waking up around 11. I have tried bottles (sometimes she'll drink an additional 4-6oz on top of the 6-8 she goes to bed @ 9 with). She has pretty much weened herself off the paci, so that's not really an option. I've tried bringing her into my bed, which I hate to do, but I need some sleep! It's only been about a wk of this, but I'm at my wits end! It's after 2:30am & I'm still up watching her on monitor bc I couldn't take her crawling around in my bed any longer. Idk what else to do but let her wear herself out. She's not really even crying, just that "fake" sort of cry that she does when she's trying to get you to give her back something you took from her. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Are you going through this too?
Well, apparently it was just a brief phase--thank goodness! We are back to sleeping through the night & bedtime it @ 8pm. However, there's a new "issue". She's become super whiny!! Naps are still routine & she takes 2 a day. I think she may be testing boundaries, but I have to be honest, the constant whining is testing my nerves. The worst part is she seems to know what she's doing & enjoys driving my nuts. There are times I try everything to pacify her & other times I just let her fuss. Either way she's not happy--is this normal?

0k so i want t0make an Apple pie. Can anyone tell me how u make it step by step plz and all that i need i really want to make one from scratch for Thanksgiving tomorrow... Thanks for ur replies :D
So I just had my first baby on oct 4. She is the best thing that has happened to me and also the most expensive thing that has happen to me. My boyfriend and I are also closing in our first home in a couple of weeks. I'm excited to know that we have our daughter and a place of our own but all our money goes to the house and the baby. It makes me sad to have to tel my family not to buy us or my daughter anything for Christmas because we won't be able to give them anything in return. Ive been crying and crying because this is going to be a sad Christmas for me and I don't think I will be spending it with my family since I won't be able to give them anything. I know next year will be ok but it ls just this year that is a struggle. I just want to fast forward though the holidays to get it over with...so long I just needed to let it all out!!
If you're really worried about gifts (which isn't what christmas is about, but hey...) maybe try making them something. There's a great website, pinterest.com that has a ton of great (cheap/free) DIY gift ideas. It's always better when it's from the heart <3 best wishes!
