The portable DVD player we have is made for the car and designed to strap around a headrest so we just turned it around and strapped it where she could see it.

We did the portable DVD player also. It was a lifesaver for us! We played Baby Einstein movies at that age. I know TV isn't recommended that young but I figured it had to be better than the stress it causes them when they scream for that long. It also helped sometimes if I rolled the window down just enough for her to listen to the wind blowing. Good luck!

We travel in the car a lot with my daughter so we've learned a few things that keep her entertained. Fisher Price makes a Doddle Pad that's kind of like the Etch A Sketch but it comes with a little pen that's attached to a short cord. My daughter just turned two and she loves to draw on it and she can erase easily on her own. It's small enough to fit in her diaper bag and in her hands in the car seat. It's also great because I don't have to worry about the pen getting lost. It's $8.99 at Toys R Us.
The other great item is a book that has little tabs that you lift up to see what's underneath. Ours has a farm theme but there are several kinds. It keeps my dd occupied for awhile. She loves lifting the tabs & gets excited about what's hiding underneath.
I've never tried it for traveling but you might look into essential oils to help keep him (and yourself!) calm while traveling. I know doTerra sells one called Balance that is supposed to be very calming. Hope that helps and good luck!!

I love my Boba 3G but after looking at the Beco Gemini, I kind of wish I had gotten that one because it has the option for front facing out (which I know is controversial but my daughter loved that position and it would've been nice to have the option) and the hip carry, which I would have liked also. The Boba 3G is great but it only does two positions.

I'm 31, married, live in Texas & ttc#2. :) I've just started getting my periods again because of breastfeeding my dd but they aren't very regular yet. My last cycle lasted 52 days :/ So it's hard for me to figure out when I'm ovulating. I'm on cd26 and PP shoes my possible O day as Jan 30 (based in the standard 28 cycle) but based on the appearance of ewcm it was maybe Feb 1 or 2. Anyway, I'm thinking about testing on Valentine's Day but that might still be a little too early.

My last cycle lasted 52 days :( I don't know what to expect this time. Our plan was to BD every other day until my period starts or I get a BFP but then I got a head cold and feel too crappy to even try. It's frustrating being that late & still no BFP.
