Congratulations!! My oldest will be 18 months on Wednesday and my youngest 2 months on Wednesday. I cannot imagine being pregnant again lol. You are so blessed and maybe a little crazy! Or at least you will be with 3 under 3. Haha Happy and healthy 9 months!!
I woke up with a 102.4 fever and my doctor told me to stop breast feeding. I dont want to use formula. And know im gonna have to pump and dump my milk. Im very upset now.
I would not quit breastfeeding unless you're taking medicine that can affect baby. Your baby needs those antibodies. Sickness doesn't not contraindicated breastfeeding at all.
Awesome! I use the TotalBaby app for iPhone. I used it with my last baby and am using it this time too. It keeps separate profiles for separate babies. It's been nice being able to swipe over to my daughters to see how long she nursed for etc. just to compare how my son is doing too. It's so nice to have all the information logged.
My baby seems to get the hiccups after every meal. I feed, burp and all. Then soon after the hiccups will start. I give her water for it. It seems to go away after she swallow a few gulp.
Water for a newborn can be dangerous. Please ask your pediatrician. It can throw their electrolyte balance off. Only formula or breastmilk for the first 6 months. Hiccups are very normal. They can indicate trapped gas. As the others have said latch baby again or burp a little longer. They won't hurt baby either.
I have two incisions. My last CSection on April 19th they had to use a new incision site because my previous one was done incorrectly and too low. It made my recovery the first time awful. The new incision has been much better and I don't even notice I have two. Generally they do use the same spot though.
Before my c-section Monday I was 132 pounds, I got home from the hospital yesterday and weighed myself and I was 128.5.
I only lost 3.5 pounds?! How is this possible when my baby weighed a little over 7 pounds??
I haven't done number 2 yet so I'm hoping that's it... Or maybe I'm just swollen and retaining major water? If I took a picture of my belly right now it looks exactly like my 29 week belly picture. It's still really big. I'm confused, can anyone give me some insight or their experiences please?!
Yes, give it some time. You will take a bit to get rid of the fluid retention from the IV, your uterus to shrink down (takes some women longer than others to lose the bloat) and if your milk has come in your breasts can easily take up a few pounds. Just focus on drinking lots of water and eating healthy meals and snacks.
Hey ladies! Iv been in my new board so much lately I almost forgot how awesome you ladies are. I miss this board.... I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby. I'm worried it'll be more than I can handle but I know I have you guys :)
