Going to make these cookies my friend said she and a friend at them and both went into labor 12 hours later

So I packed my hospital and diaper bags. My mom said I probably won't want half the stuff and will stay in a gown the whole time and that she never took anything. But I don't want to be uncomfortable and cold and have to ask for toiletries & stuff all the time. I'm taking my diaper bag too, not for diapers and stuff because I'll use ones from the hospital, but because I'm keeping my baby's outfit & thick blanket in there for when we leave.

So this is what I packed:

-A robe
-2 pairs of dark colored, thick pj pants & 2 shirts so I can be comfy & not have to stay in a hospital gown
-an outfit to wear home. Black yoga pants, long sleeve shirt, underwear, socks, warm shoes
-slippers
-2 more pairs of socks
-2 more pairs of underwear
-toothbrush
-toothpaste
-soap
-shampoo
-lotion
-chapstick
-nursing pads
-makeup remover
-cotton balls
-eyeliner & mascara for when we leave and maybe for when we have visitors, and because I know I'll be in pictures
-hair ties & hair clips
-flip flops for shower
-razor
-hairbrush
-deodorant
-boppy
-towel for the car ride in case my water breaks


Some of the things I'm taking are going to have to be packed right before I go because I still need to use them now (hairbrush, shoes, yoga pants, makeup remover, & makeup).

-Stick of CJ's BUTTer
-Wet bag
-portable Changing pad
-Coming home outfit with hat & mittens (will replace afterwards with an extra change of clothes)

-receiving blanket

-baby nail clippers
-thick minky blanket

After my hospital stay I'll add an extra shirt for me, snacks, & water to the diaper bag.

EDIT: I said it in my original post and in several comments already. I didn't pack the diaper bag specifically for that day! I packed it for the future and I'm just taking it because I have his clothes and blanket in it, I'm not taking it to use diapers and wipes & I know he's not going to care about toys yet. Like I said, the diaper bag has a few things I will in fact need, so I'm just taking that instead of trying to stuff his blanket and outfit in my bag too. His clothes are so small I don't want to be hunting through my duffle bag for them, they fit snug in the diaper bag so I'm just taking that.

So please do not comment just saying the hospital has X item I have in my diaper bag or something. I know that, you're wasting effort by telling me that when I've already said why I'm bringing the diaper bag

Tuesday doctor told me that I was not dialated at all, that my cervix was simply not ready and that my baby was weighting in at 8.2 lbs ..... I was only 37w6d. He explained that if I did not dialate by the following Tuesday ( next week) I would need to schedule a c sec, he explained if I dialated he would induce me but if not id be in for a c sec! I was terrified , so this is what I did .... \n\nI drank rassberry leaf tea ( naturaly decafe) like it was going out of style with honey, I bought ginger root and cinnomon sticks and boiled it in a sauce pan , covered it and let it brew about 2 inch piece of ginger per 3 cups of water and 2 stick cinnomon, I then walked on the tredmill for 1 mile ( hard walking but not fast just used my hips) and bounced on a yoga ball for 39 mins. I then took 1 primrose pill ( looked it up says native Americans used this oil to aid in labor. \n\nI continued to drink rassberryleaf tea and 4 pm same day I started contracting ( the tea helps them not to be so painful) I thought u was just cramping..... my hubby and I went to the hospital at 12 am , I was dialated 4cm, 90 % effaced ..... at 2 am I had an epi, went beautiful!!!!!! slept through the rest of my contractions, at 12:19 pm on 8/25 ( exactley 38 weeks ) I started pushing and at 12:38 .... my son was born weighting 8.5 lbs... ( vag delivery ) !!!! BTW : rassberry leaf tea not rassberry tea helps with, inducing, contracting, pain, and duration of pushing time. \n\nit worked.... I feel amazing and no c sec!!! \n\nI posted this because just a few days ago I was posting asking ...how do I induce labor? \n\ngood luck ladies!!! \n

Does anyone know of any websites that offer free baby stuff? The Similac website has free samples and they sent me 2 cans of formula.

I am having the worst cramping pain it has me to where I.can't breath or even barley walk. it comes and goes but isn't.consistent yet. do I have to wait.for them to become regular and.closer together before going to l&d?
